Multicultural Public Speaking

The Multicultural Perspectives Public Speaking Competition was introduced in 1996 and is now in its 22nd year. It aims to heighten the awareness of multicultural issues among NSW primary school students while developing their interest in public speaking and improving their confidence and speech-writing skills.

The Multicultural Perspectives Public Speaking Competition has two divisions: one for Years 3 and 4 students and one for Years 5 and 6 students.

Students participate in a class competition, speaking on the following topics:
